Check the below differences between Regular degree and Honours/Minor for BTech at NIST-
- BTech Regular: Standard degree with 190 credits.
- BTech Honours: 190 credits + additional credit points in your own discipline.
- BTech Major/Minor: 190 credits + students to have dual specialization.

No, students can't get admission in Tolani Maritime Institute BTech without having studied PCM subjects in Class 12. Additionally, the minimum aggregate in PCM must be 60%. Hence, admissions without PCM are not possible in this programme.
