Yes, NMIMS Indore offers lateral entry in BTech and MBA Tech programme for vacant seats in second year. Eligibility criteria for lateral entry is:

  • Candidates passing Diploma with minimum 60% aggregate for BTech and  minimum 75% aggregate for MBA Tech. OR
  • Candidates passing the first year of B.Tech. / B.E. with CGPA equal to or above 3 out of 4.

The BTech programme at JECRC University can be absolutely worth it with the university offering a range of industry-aligned specialisations course in collaboration with industry leaders that are designed to make on-boarding and placements more accessible for students such as Siemens for its BTech (EV) course or Samatrix AI, etc.

Yes, candidates who cleared a Diploma in Engineering and Technology are eligible to apply for Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology BTech courses. A minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories) while passing Diploma is required to fulfill BTech lateral entry eligibility criteria.

Yes, Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology BTech courses are open for lateral entry in academic year 2026. However, BTech in Electronics & Comm. Engineering and Electronics & Computer Engineering are not available for latral entry at the institute.

Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology BTech seat reservation policy is created by The Centre of Electronic Governance which is as follows:

  • 70% seats of approved intake for candidates belong to Rajasthan state
  • 15% seats of approved intake for candidates belong to any State other than Rajasthan state
  • 15% seats of approved intake as management seats as per guidelines of REAP
