For students with a good JEE Main rank, the answer is yes. NIT Surathkal is the only NIT in Karnataka, ranks in India's list of top 20 engineering institutes according to NIRF 2025. It has a beautiful campus spread over 295 acres on the Arabian Sea with a good placement record from corporates like Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Nvidia. Admission is only through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling, so a competitive rank in JEE is a must to get admission in this institute.

For B.Tech CSE, the best choice is:
- LPU – Best for placements, coding opportunities, modern labs, and campus life. Many IT companies visit for recruitment.
- Amity Noida – Good university with a nice campus and decent placements, but generally offers a lower return on investment than LPU.
- Sharda University – Good for studies, but placements for CSE are generally not as strong as LPU and Amity.

Yes, you can still apply for B.Tech CSE or AI&ML at Galgotias University as admissions are generally merit-based and consider overall eligibility and availability of seats.

Yes, it is worth doing BTech from ADTU. BTech is offered at the UG level for the duration of 4 years. BTech programme is given in streams like Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering & Computer Science and Engineering. Placement opportunities are also offered to the students. Some of the top recruiters of Assam Down Town University in 2026 include HCLTech, PwC, LTIMindtree, Asian Paints, Marico, Wipro, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank, etc.
