Every university has its own criteria of selection. If I talk of IILM University Gurugram, it takes admission basis any one national level exam be it CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT.

I think you should go with B.Sc. Statistics, because B.Sc. Data Science students have big competition with B.Tech CSE students and most of the companies prefers to select the B.Tech CSE students in place of B.Sc. Students.

In this you will study common subjects in 1st year and you will select subjects of your choice for 2nd year. You can select marketing subjects for 2nd year (3 semesters). Or else, you only want to study marketing for 8-9 months than executive MBA course is better option. All the best.

Both Finance and Business Analytics have equal importance in their own places. Business Analytics is the talk of the market these days and no doubt will continue to grab major market for next 15-20 years. Finance has limited applications as compared to Business Analytics cause of the reason it is domain specific.
