Both Finance and Business Analytics have equal importance in their own places. Business Analytics is the talk of the market these days and no doubt will continue to grab major market for next 15-20 years. Finance has limited applications as compared to Business Analytics cause of the reason it is domain specific. But Business Analytics has wide applications may it be IT sector, Operations or Management etc. When one studies business analytics, finance becomes an integral part of it cause without financial management no organisation can sustain. And without finance, Business Analytics is 25% incomplete. This ratio is meant alot so both the fields are highly correlated and incomplete without each other. While learning Business Analytics you will not only learn finance, but the essentials of finance and how smartly and effectively you can apply the finance techniques and strategies to make an organisation most profitable. Also, you will learn the other 75% which comprise of technicalities and issues faced by the companies, how to deal with them in a way better than others.
