The eligibility requirements for admission to the MBA course at Easa College of Engineering and Technology are that students should have completed their graduation with decent scores and from any field. Then, students need to appear for the TANCET entrance examinations. Then, at the time of applying for the course, they need to submit their entranace exam scorecard with other details.

I don't think the quality of MBA education is declining overall, but it's becoming very uneven. A lot more colleges have opened in the last few years, so the quality really depends on the institute you choose.Top and mid-tier B-schools still maintain good faculty, internships and placement support. But some smaller colleges don't update their curriculum or offer enough industry exposure, which makes the experience feel outdated. So it's not that MBA quality is falling everywhere — it's just important to pick a college that focuses on practical learning, internships and industry linkages rather than just classroom teaching.

Both Athena School of Management (Mumbai) and Kohinoor Business School offer management programmes, but they differ quite a bit in structure, exposure and outcomes. Which one is “better” depends on what you're looking for.

Athena School of Management (Mumbai)

  • Offers a 2-year PGPM (MBA-equivalent) programme.

  • Strong focus on experiential learning with three internships built into the curriculum.

  • Located in Powai, giving access to a wide corporate network.

  • Provides global exposure modules and sessions with industry leaders.

  • Good for students who prefer practical learning and a modern, industry-connected environment.
