As far as I know Chandigarh University is an awesome place to study MBA. It's not just about lectures and books, the MBA department offers unique courses like Business Analytics, FinTech and Strategic HR, etc. The department also organizes several workshops, expert talks and seminars every month and even the labs are modern and advanced. If we talk about the most important part which are placements then big MNCs like Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Danone Foods, KPMG, Reliance Industries, Bank of America, VIVO, ICICI Bank, ITC, etc. hire students and offer very high salaries.

Factor | Chandresh Agarwal | Vasantha Book House |
Coverage & Up-to-date Content | Very good. Recent editions exist. The Max Success series seems to stay updated. | Also good coverage, but older editions in some cases; need to check the latest version. Some user reviews mention mistakes, which could be due to older edition. |
Practice Material / Mock Tests | Books seem to include many practice questions + sections for all parts of exam. The comprehensiveness is a plus. | Similarly rich in practice, though the quality of answer explanations may vary. More practice is good but you have to check if explanations are clear. |
Price / Value | Likely reasonable; e-book versions available, which can be cheaper. | Generally good value; many students use these as standard references. But if you need error free material, may require cross checking. |
Reliability / Errors | Less feedback in reviews about errors (at least from what I saw). But that doesn't guarantee none. | Some complaints in reviews about misprints, mistakes. That means extra effort on your part to verify. |
Availability / Accessibility | The book is widely available; also in digital formats. | Also widely available; many students use Vasanthas publications. |

To directly take admission in an MBA course, keeping in mind the private universities and deemed universities are the best way to approach. You can always knock off the entrance exam to apply for the programs like Amity University / Lovely Professional University / NMIMS (the Mumbai campus will give you better placements). Also you have to look into colleges with a good industry relations, internship assistance and placement with success ratio around 90%. I also recommend looking for courses with practical exposure, live projects, and soft skills assistance. Check the fees, return on investment, and student alumnus feedback before you
