GIBS (Global Institute of Business Studies) provides students with many opportunities for International exposure. Examples of this are: Global Immersion Program (GIP), international partnerships and dual degree certifications. However, there is no current offering of the traditional semester-long international exchange programs offered by other institutions.

International Exposure Opportunities Available at GIBS

Students can experience international exposure through the following means of GIP:

•  International industrial visits;
•  International workshops and guest lectures;
•  University visits to Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai;
•  Networking with international students and professionals;
•  Exposure to international business and cultural practices;

GIBS has provided additional means of international exposure, including the following:

•   International partnerships with over 5 foreign institutions;
•  Presence of international faculty and guest speakers;
•  Global assignments and collaborative research opportunities; and
•  Dual degree or certification programs.

GIBS provides one of a kind program:

•  PGDM + PGP-IRE (Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship) Dual-Degree programme for candidates with a PGDM;

This programme will develop the following skills:

•  Developing a start-up;
•  Conducting research and developing innovative solutions to problems;• Developing the entrepreneurial mindset and skill set;

•  Learning from practice of pursuing businesses through successful pitching of business plans from the perspectives of both the entrepreneur and the investor;
•  Learning from the experience of industry professionals through experiential learning; and
• Developing global experience through project based learning.

In addition, GIBS combines the global business environment with live projects, mentoring by industry professionals, experiential learning, business simulations, and exposure to international experts.

At GIBS, GIBS Business School considers internships and project-based work in the industry as an integral component of the educational process. All students are encouraged to partake in internships, live projects, industry assignments, and case-studies for a „real-world' exposure.

The practical experience students gain from these activities will help them:

• To experience actual problems experienced in a real business environment.
• To develop their communication and team-working capabilities.
• To gain confidence prior to placement and/or interview opportunities.
• To utilise knowledge gained in class by implementing their classroom concepts in a practical environment.

The application process for BBA at GIBS Business School is very simple and mostly done online, and it is not complicated for students.

Simple application process

• First, go to the GIBS official website and open the BBA admission section
• Fill the online application form with basic details like name, marks, contact details
• Upload required documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Pay a small application fee online
• Submit the form and wait for the college response

After this, GIBS will check your application and shortlist you.

Selection process (after applying)

• Shortlisted students are called for a personal interview (PI)
• They may also check your 12th marks and overall profile
• Some cases include a simple interaction or counselling round
• Final admission is given based on overall performance, not just marks
