Yes, you can go for Ph.D. in psychology after PGDM. But you should have basic knowledge in psychology right from the development of tests, measures used to formulate the tests and its application values as well as therapies or counselling format done.

This is the question which comes in mind of every MBA aspirant. See, You should go for MBA or PGDM depends on one more aspect, as one can directly tell you that yes PGDM has more advanced syllabus in compared with MBA for so and so reason, which I don't deny at all, but you need to consider the other side also. Like for example it also depends on the institution you select, if I got selected in IIM for MBA course (just saying) and also I got offer letter for PGDM from any other renowned institute then definitely I will prefer IIM MBA and not PGDM. You can choose to study from India or abroad. For that can appear for exam like CAT GMAT GRE or entrance exam of particular university. Few good option for studying abroad are New Zealand, India, Britain, Netherland ( in some case for free), USA etc. First you choose the type of MBA then short list top choice for b school and lastly suitable MBA entrance exam. IIT Madras offers specializations in many sectors including finance but it is not mentioned in the degree awarded. IIT Madras can definitely regard as a good b school for the fiance.
