Hi Divya, Yes, you are right. But, before you decide you should know both of them thoroughly. CA (Chartered Accountancy), is one of the oldest and one of the most reputed professional courses currently being offered in India. Hi Rail, Both CA and ACCA have almost same course. CA follow Indian accounting standards although new syllabus has included IFRS as an elective paper. But, ACCA purely follows International accounting standards (IFRS)
In India Acca is still in growing pace but CA is the most respectable degree of commerce. ACCA is an international degree and is valid across the globe. A further difference is mentioned below:
I) Relevance:CA from ICAI is the only one qualification that allows a person to practice as a Chartered Accountant in India, while ACCA is the one qualification that can be called a truly global Chartered Accountancy qualification. I

Hello,
From December 2018, NTA became the exam conducting authority. NTA done some of the changes in the exam pattern and revised the syllabus also. As per your qualification you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET exam. The minimum qualification criteria to appear in the UGC NET exam is a candidate must qualify or qualifying their Master's degree. The validity of the UGC NET certificate is for 3 years. So, if you clear you're Masters within this period then you can enroll yourself in the Research programme from National Universities. Maths is so important. If your maths is strong with concepts and speed, and the concepts of other subjects then CA will become an easy course. Some students thought that accounts is important but actually accounts is 1/4th of the whole CA journey.
