CIT Kolkata accepts JEE Main or WBJEE scores for BTech, PGET for M.Tech and JECA for MCA programmes. Besides, aspirants applying for Diploma course need to appear for JEXPO. Aspirants are alloted seat in the institute based on their entrance exam scores. Selected candidates need to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.

Yes, Calcutta Institute of Technology accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech programme. Aspirants without JEE Main score can also apply for admission to BTech programme with WBJEE score. In 2024, the highest JEE Main cutoff was 299438 for BTech Chemical Engineering for General All India category.

The answer to this question depends on the course applied by the candidate. Those applying for BTech programme at Calcutta Institute of Technology need to have a valid score in WBJEE. Aspirants without WBJEE score can apply with their JEE Main score for BTech course. For all other courses, the institute accepts different entrance test. Hence, aspirants applying for any other course except BTech can get admission without WBJEE score provided they pass accepted entrance tests for the applied course.
