CAQ is a mandatory document, also known as the provincial immigration document, required for Indian students planning to study in Quebec

Without it, the students cannot apply to the IRCC for a study permit without a valid CAQ.

This is requested via Canada College.

Yes, Canada College is a DLI-designated college with many AEC and DEP programs.

AEC programs in Digital Marketing, Early Childhood Education and more are eligible for a PGWP which is the Post-Graduation Work Permit in Canada.

The length of your programme matters a lot.

Indian students need to meet the Canada College admission requirements to apply here.

The basic academic qualification is having a Class 12th diploma. This means that students need to have a higher secondary school certificate.

Some programs may accept equivalent education for Indian students.

For the Canada College application visa, Indian students should start with the visa process 3 to 4 months before, as the Canada visa processing may take around 8 to 12 weeks

A very important thing to note is not to follow up while IRCC processes your visa application, as it puts you back to the original timeline, making your wait null and void.

The Canada College admissions are rolling, which means that your application is reviewed as soon as it is received by this institution. But that does not mean that time is not crucial.

The three months when the class starts are January, May and September. And, ideally this application should be started 4 to 5 months before.

To meet the study visa processing times, receive a CAQ and PAL.

This fee does not include the other important factors, like living costs.

While learning French may make life in Quebec, Canada, easier for you, it is not a mandatory requirement for the courses taught in the English language.

For these English-taught programs, Indian students would need an IELTS band score of 6.0 or higher

If your chosen Canadian college course is in French, you would need TEF B2 to show familiarity with this language.
