Hi Palak,
You may opt for a M.Sc in economics course if you are interested in pure economics. Several options are open if you have an economics degree. Since finance is a growing market and Canada is a finance hub you may also check Master of Financial Economics and related programs. MS in finance or MS in accounts could be another option, specialisations like business or managerial economics can be taken up. If you have work experience, you may enroll into an MBA program.

Oshawa has one campus of UOIT that offers MBA. UOIT is one of the first universities in Canada to offer this as a concentration at the MBA level. For students with at least two years of relevant work experience, the MBA at UOIT builds on their employment experiences and can be completed in 16 months of full-time study. For students with less than two years of relevant work experience, there is an opportunity to integrate MBA studies with work placements in a 24-month schedule of full-time study that includes work components. Previous relevant work experience (such as a co-op placement) can reduce the work requirement for this

With 67% getting into universities like UBC or University of Toronto, etc. will be difficult. Dalhousie University, Simon Fraser, Vancouver Island University, etc. can be some options. You may check the colleges and requirements here:

If you are asking for jobs in Canada after a diploma course in India then chances are very low. Probably, you can clearly write your question for a better guidance.

A co-op program is preferred since it includes real job experience while studying which is very beneficial for networking and understanding market requirements.
