Hi Aditya,
If you have taken a year to clear the backlogs, then there can be a problem. Canada does not accept gaps in education.

Both the countries have good prospects for international graduates. You can refer to the SOL of both the countries and decide basis the skill shortages, expenses, climate etc. Australia's living cost is higher than Canada whereas immigration process in Canada is easier. Irrespective of all the factors you should aim for a good or top ranked university and do academically very well to get a job. Both the countries are equally competitive.

Hi Susmit, you may consider UBC, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, Simon Fraser, McMaster to name a few. Please visit the university websites for specific requirements such as: whether it is a course based or thesis based option you are looking for. Email them if necessary.

Hi Vinod,
Check University of Windsor, University of Alberta, UOttawa, UOIT and Memorial University of Newfoundland etc. These are overall suggestions, you must check the university websites for varying requirements, for example Windsor requires a TOEFL of 100 but do not require a GRE. You may email them and find out if they can consider your current TOEFL score. Every program in every university falls under a different faculty, hence please visit the websites for details.

Hi Manik, atleast 70% is required for the top ranked universities. There are colleges under SPP requiring atleast 55%, but higher grades are recommended for visa chances.
