The validity of each degree is determined by the graduate office of the university you are seeking admission. Email the university ( admission coordinator of the chem engg dept.) with your details . They may ask for your syllabus.

I would like to know which program are you planning to apply for. GRE is not mandatory in Canadian universities. Although it is going to enhance your admission chances if you plan to take it.
