B.E. / B.Tech is the best choice at Cape Institute of Technology because it has a strong emphasis on industry-oriented curriculum and practical training. The institute has well-equipped laboratories, experienced and dedicated faculty, and frequent workshops conducted by successful professionals, which improve the technical skills of the students. In order to be eligible for admission into B.E./B.Tech courses offered by Cape Institute of Technology (CIT), students should have completed their 10+2 course with PCM as the core subjects. The admission is mostly done through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process, which takes the candidate's 10+2 marks into consideration for allotment of seats.

The hostel charges of Cape Institute of Technology (CIT) are different for different types of rooms. For single sharing, the yearly charge is around Rs. 80,000, which is comprised of Rs. 50,000 as room rent and Rs. 30,000 as mess charges. Double-sharing is available at around Rs. 60,000 per year, with Rs. 30,000 for each as room rent and mess. The fee for triple-sharing is Rs. 55,000 a year, with Rs. 25,000 as room rent and rs 30,000 as mess charges.
