Teachers with B.Ed degrees or other teacher training certificates after graduation are called Trained Graduate Teachers and are eligible to teach in junior classes in school, while teachers having a teacher training certificate after post-graduation are called Postgraduate Trained Teachers and are eligible to teach senior classes in school.
TGT should have a Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized university with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject for recruitment and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
