In order to be a commercial pilot you must have completed your Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
Training in commercial flying can be taken with Flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy, Private Flying academies.
The training goes through 3 stages of licence.
The licences have to be procured in the following order:
- Student Pilot Licence (SPL)
- Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
- After Class XI/XII (with PCM) students can apply for the SPL.
- On passing Class XII(PCM) they may enroll for the next licence -PPL.

Allthough both B.Com and BA Economics are equally good branches, you may prefer Economics over Comemerce fir Civil Services examination. Study of Economics will help you as a Civil Servant also.

IMU is the right option for doing degree in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering. No educational institutions can ever confirm guaranteed placement because demand depends on external parameters which is not in thier control.
