Before you decide what to do it is important that you become aware of a critical factor for success in your chosen profession. Your exam scores are one part of it considering how competitive it is to land a seat in the hallowed campuses of the IITs and other prestigious institutions.
There are numerous branches of space science - astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, stellar science, planetary science, etc. Originally, all these disciplines were considered as part of astronomy but with recent developments and discoveries they have become vast enough to be considered as separate fields on their own. Experts in fields such as:
1. Robotics.
2. Satellite technology.
3. Medicine.
4. Biology.
5. Remote sensing.
6. Meteorology, etc. may also seek careers in space science after developing the skill sets necessary for the job.
There are quite a few institutes in India that train students for pursuing careers in space science and technology. The recently established Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) offers graduate and postgraduate programs in space science and related fields. Apart from IIST, a few other institutes like:
1. The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
2. ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC).
3. Space Application centre (SAC).
4. National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA).
5. Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) also offer research opportunities in space science and allied fields.
Some of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) also offer specialization programs (M.Tech) in Space Technology, Astrophysics, Aerospace engineering etc. The eligibility criteria for joining programs in space science and technology vary according to the specific requirements of each job.
Admissions to the undergraduate courses at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is made on the basis of a candidate's rank in the Joint entrance Examination conducted by IITs. In other places, candidates with B.Sc, M.Sc, BE, ME or Ph.D are usually selected. Study of science subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at undergraduate level is usually a mandatory requirement.
However, before you join a career in space science, it is necessary for you to know the various requirements of the field - which skills to develop, which courses to take, where to study.

As you are interested in Aviation, you may pursue courses regarding aviation industry. There are various kind of courses in an Aviation like Commercial Pilots, Helicopter Pilot, Airlines cabin crew, Airlines technical staff or the ground staff.
You can also opt to do Masters in Aviation management after your graduation, there are many institutes offering Aviation management courses like Avalon Aviation Academy.
IAF is one of the most challenging career field. There are different levels under which people are hired in IAF, One is the Intermediate level (i.e after +2), or after Graduation or after Post Graduation.
There are mainly three branches under which you can work and serve towards IAF as an officer - Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Staff.
Both Men and Women are offered positions in all the three branches. All the branches have different set of eligibility criteria and age limits.
Flying branch - Graduate in any stream with Maths and Physics in +2 is important and max age limit is 23.
Technical Branch- You can join in any of the two aeronautical engineering streams - Electronics/ Mechanical depending on the education background, education qualification required is AMIE in electronics or Mechanical, the Maximum age limit is 28 years.
And for the last Branch which is the Ground staff the most common eligibility criteria is a graduate degree ( B.Com in case of Accounts Division) with a minimum score of 60% . There are various sub branched in the Ground duty to work in, like Administration, Accounts, Stock/ logistics.
Also remember that Physical Fitness is one of the most important aspect to be eligible and to be shortlisted for IAF and there is a separate exam too to qualify a Physical test.

Candidates who wishes to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy need to complete their B.Sc degree in mechanical or marine engineering before they can gain admission to the field. In some cases, students who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets.
Navigating Officers - Candidates will need to obtain a Certificate of Competency, as per the regulations in India relating to the examinations of Masters and Mates. Conducted by the Ministry of Surface Transport, in association with the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) Mumbai, the examinations help determine the promotion prospects for the officers.
For training, the best training institution for the navigating officers is the T.S. Chanakya. Candidates need to go through a three year training in Nautical Science (B.Sc.) and then complete a year's duration of practical training in the deck department of a merchant ship. Selection is based on the Joint Entrance Examination given by the IIT.
A merit list is prepared after the written test and interview are completed and the Director General of Shipping has the authority to choose which of the 2 training programs the candidate is best suited for (students can let their preference be known). Both the T.S. Chanakya and MERI institutions do help (under no Government obligations) in recruiting their graduates in suitable Indian Shipping Companies.
As far as remuneration and other benefits are concerned Merchant Navy is one of the few careers where the salary is relatively high. The pay is definitely different from company to company, depending on the city, country, export and import needs, seniority etc.

No, the whole course has been designed in such a way so that students coming from any stream will be able to adjust to it properly. In fact, with the passage of each year you will see the time to study at home increases, which means you can use that time to study in some institutes to prepare for CAT, MAT or XAT, if giving MBA is one of your top priorities.
Secondly, I would suggest you to go for BBA programs in core domain like BBA Logistics, BBA Oil and Gas Marketing, BBA Aviation, BBA Auto Markting, etc. As these are unexplored branches and have good career prospects than traditional BBA programs. For such programs UPES is best bet. I will recommend you to go through the syllabus of BBA programs once. This will help you to get the hang of it.
