Some of the universities you may consider include Queen Margaret University - Edinburgh, University of Cambridge, City University London, University of Nottingham, Kingston University and Sheffield Hallam University. I am not in a position to advice on salary packages but I can advise you to check the university/department websites for career reports. This actually, the MBA officers would want to know from you, hence you must know your own post MBA career goals. India has a huge scope in your field as far as I know. You can plan to pursue your MBA in a foreign country and then decide to work in any country. Make a career plan. My personal suggestion would be Singapore as it has wide career opportunities for your field of work. National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University are some options you can check for MBA. On the basis of your grades you do stand a good chance. Make an informed decision considering your interest, else there is no dearth of opportunity for talented professionals.
For the preparation in general, you can go through:
1) The organizational structure with respect to workforce structuring,
2) Read and understand best HR practices going around as published in reports/blogs/sites,
3) Understand the employment laws/Statutory requirement of government across levels, i.e. from lower to top level for HR practices and likewise.

Only if you are good with Maths and programming, you must pick up a language like PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software development), Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games).
However, like I mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and B.Tech (CS) applicants. So, choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT Company's credentials on the net. For example, if someone provides LIVE PROJECTS, are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JustDial? Or, if the company is registered

Since, you say you don't want to do programming. If you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even VFX/ Animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. Games Design and Games Programming/ Development. Wish you the best for your career. Remember, your Career is a resultant of your knowledge combined with your passion and expression ability.
