The Army offers both permanent and short service commission. Permanent commission (PC) is granted through the Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun and Short Service Commission (SSC) is granted through Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai. When you opt for 'PC', you are basically looking at a permanent career in the Army, a career till you retire. SSC is a wonderful option for all those of you who aspire to serve it for a few years. It gives you the option of joining the Army, and serving it as a commissioned officer for ten years. Once your tenure is over, you are allowed to opt for PC. Alternatively, you can also ask for a four years extension and can choose to resign from your post any time during this period.

Difference Between BTech and BSc:-
B.Tech. is a professional Bachelors' degree program whereas B.Sc. is only an academic Science graduation course. B Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology whereas B.Sc. is Bachelor of Science. Since B Tech is an engineering graduation, B Tech students have to study the vast techniques involved in a particular subject. They have to study about the processes involved in designing new instruments, techniques or programs, which comes under their field of study. On the contrary, B.Sc. graduates may have to study the working principles about an instrument or a process that is included in their curriculum.
Duration of B Tech and B.Sc. programs:-
Although both these are graduation programs, B Tech is a four year duration course. Aspirants can complete the B.Sc. programs within three years. Engineering colleges offer the B Tech programs whereas aspirants have to pursue the B.Sc. programs from Science and Arts colleges.
Key differentiators:-
Even if B Tech and B.Sc. graduates have taken same specializations, B Tech students may have in depth knowledge about the construction, designing and other internal mechanisms concerned with a subject. However, B.Sc. students may only know about the theoretical and practical applications of the instruments, equipments or processes in their field of study.

Harmeet, Take any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. Psychology and Literature are two useful subjects. Dear Ankush, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. This is a field where nobody cares for your qualification, they only see if you can do quality work. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people.

Recruiters like Animation Studios, Production Houses, TV Advertising Companies, Architectural Visualization Companies, Movie Makers(Animation & Bollywood),TV Channels, E-learning Companies, Internet Companies, Mobile & Console Gaming Cos, Medical-Legal-Insurance Cos regularly employ animation professionals for their various needs.
Typically in VFx Industry Co's like Prime Foucs, Delux, MPC, etc are using application softwares likes Aftereffects, Combustion, Nuke, Mocha, Boujue,Fusion etc. Ensure to cover all these tools in specialization alongwith Graphics, Audio-Video, 2d and 3d animation techniques.
You could create a list of best training academy by doing R&D and decided based on your own parameters like Faculty, Placements, infrstructure, Estabilishment year of institute, facilities etc.

Gaming is a highly exciting, youthful career. It needs lot of passion, patience and Creativity to become Game Designer. Ensure that you possess it. Liking Games is one thing and making Career in it is completely different.
Gaming is still in its nascent stage in India. Till date there are very few appropriate programs available for Game Art Design. You could also do a Animation and Digital Media program which covers all the aspects desired to become an avid designer for game contents. Such course not only prepares you for Gaming but also for Animation Studios, Production Houses, Web, Ad agencies, Home entertainment through TV, e-learning etc.
At this juncture try to learn artistic skills as much as possible like drawing, acting, sketching, painting etc. You may check desired profile on top few Game Co's like Sony, Microsoft, Disney Indiagames, Zynga, Veda Games, Gameloft, Kreeda etc. For career as Game developer you must pursue an Engineering Degree.

The options are unlimited, as you have done your class 12 with science. With the combination of biology, physics and chemistry you can take up medicine, dentistry, Pharmacy, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, Microbiology).
Apart from doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration, hotel management, tourism management etc. you can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as hotel management, fashion technology, industrial design, packaging, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses and a host of post 10 + 2 level vocational courses.
For pursuing a course in engineering you should have Maths as compulsory subject in 10+2.
