Please remember MBA degree is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, Both are good but in PGDM there is very advance syllabus that's why IIM also give PGDM degree .
However please remember while taking admission, your emphasis should be more on taking admission in good universities or institutes.
You may consider some of the below mentioned points while selecting a institute or university to pursue MBA or PGDM program:
- Accreditation of the institute.
- Institute's infrastructure.
- Teaching faculty.
- Specialization offered.

To become an investment banker you must complete B.Com and do courses like Mutual funds, Trading , Forex and other related courses which are having tie up BSE AND NSE.
