Hi,
As per RIIMs website: Minimum 50 percentile. A good score strengthens your application but does not guarantee admission while a low score does not necessarily mean exclusion. In fact they test overall potential of the student.

You can still take CAT exam. I suppose you still await your semester 5 and 6. Hence, if you are concerned regarding your B.Com score, you can work little harder and shoot your aggregate up with better scores in semester 5 and 6. Nevertheless, you can still apply for CAT.
All the best.

Hi Saumya,
Well CAT stands for Common Aptitude Test. It is a common test for those who want to pursue MBA.
Now eligibility criteria for CAT is 65% in PG.
Thereafter, you will be eligible for this exam and even after exams you have to give GDPI.
It is not mandatory to pursue MBA after engineering. It all depends on your field of interest. Like if you want to go in cooperate jobs, you can opt this course and if you want to continue with this technical line you may go for M.Tech of MS.
Actually, B.Tech+engineering is in trend nowadays that's why people are running behind this.
I think you got your answer.
Thank you.
Keep asking.
