Yes, MICA accepts CAT score for you to be eligible to take MICAT. CAT score has 2 percent weightage in the overall process.

This college doesn't require CAT score you have to appear for CET that is the common entrance exam for IP University.

Hi Ankur,
BIM takes the admission through CAT only. But there are many other colleges which accept other entrance exam score as well like VIT Business School, AIMS Bangalore etc.

You would agree that your score in CAT this year isn't great and you really should not be going anywhere near a college that would be willing to accept a score of 62 percentile. So, I would recommend that you prepare for CAT once again in 2017 so that you can get into one of the top colleges.

Last year, the CAT cut-off for PGDM and PGDM-IB was 84% and 76% respectively. I hope this gives you an idea where you stand.

Unless you are very desperate and cannot wait for another year, but if you can take CAT again next year, do the same. The colleges that you can expect the admission call will have an average package of 4-5 LPA. Even the roles for which firms will recruit you is going to be very average.
