Hi,
None of the IIMs takes admission only on the basis of CAT. Even after scoring 100% in CAT you need to have very strong academic background and you need to make it through the interview and GD rounds, then only you will get admission.
Feel free to ask more questions about the same.
All the best!

CAT is considered. Your HSC marks is just a part of consideration .
It won't stop you from getting admission in college.

Hi,
See it depends on your education background as well.
But above 99 percentile will be a competitive one.
Thank you

You should prepare for interview and GD. You can read newspaper regularly and make a group of CAT aspirants and start doing mock GD.

I think if your CAT percentile is around 65%, you would be on safe side.
Best of luck

90 to 95 percentile can help you to get shortlisted in the newest IIM's, provided you have a decent profile. You need to have above 95 percentile and also a good profile to get shortlisted for GD/PI in top 7 to 10 IIMs.

75 percentile would be more than enough.
