Hi Kirti,
I think, you have to do lot of hard work for CAT exam. You should make a proper time table and stick to it. You need to be focused on mathematics formulas. You should be aware about GK and you should read newspaper. You can start from basic concept and go for the best CAT coaching.

For PGDM admission you need to apply separately. College issues separate forms for PGDM courses. There are a number of exams considered for PGDM admissions, CAT is one of them. Based on your score, you'll be shortlisted for Gd/pi. Based on your GD/PI performance you'll be admitted.

Coaching institute is a good option for preparing CAT entrance exam and other MBA entrance exams. They will definitely guide you in a proper way. Career Launcher do have good reputation for CAT preparation and its test series is also challenging.

There isn't a specific criteria, because you get a call on the basis of your profile. There is a psychometric test followed by gdpi and accordingly you will convert it based on the preference with Core specializations having tougher competition. Hope you got my point, all the best :)

Take a mock test and analyze the results. Once you get to know your weaker section, start off your preparation with that section. Spend an hour daily exclusively for reading books or editorials to improve your vocabulary and comprehension skills. This will help you for all types of questions in verbal ability section.

Verbal communication needs practice and if you had done ample amount of prior practice of this section then you will get through this section. DI and LR need a bit of patience and concentration. Try to solve the questions after reading all the given conditions and key points. Take one or two tests each day and revise as much as possible.
