There is no specific number for this. It depends on the exam pattern and difficulty level of the paper that year. You just need to do maximum correct questions you attempt.

It depends on how much effort you are ready to make for the same. CAT 2017 is 13 months away, so channelize your efforts and utilize your weekends well. Enroll in a good mock CAT test series to constantly evaluate, where you stand.

CAT exam coaching duration is 6 to 7months based on the institute. Ideal time for joining coaching is final year (i.e. June to November), so that you can write exam in December. TIME institute is good.

Hello Anil,
B.Tech is all about the technical aspects, MBA teaches a lot about management and administration of business.
For a B.Tech (EEE) student, MBA turns out to be useful if you're planning to start your own business / company. Certain companies also keep it as a mandatory eligibility criteria for promotion or recruitment to senior managerial positions.
Since, you already have a career of over 5+ experience, I would not suggest you to leave your job. Rather, you could opt for correspondence MBA while you continue with your job.
I hope it helps.
