It totally depends on individual's efforts and determination. If one had prepared well, he/she has good chances to score high percentile in CAT.

Below mentioned are the colleges accepting CAT scores in Maharashtra:
1) SP Jain.
2) JBIMS.
3) KJ Somaiya.
4) SIMSREE.
5) NITIE, etc.

The average CTC at the recent placements was around 9 lakhs per annum.
As for your second question, CAT cutoff lies around 80 percentile but a 90percentile would be competitive.

There are many good colleges which give admission at 85 percentile.
1. IFMR.
2. TAPMI.
3. GIM – Goa.
4. Welingkar.
5. KJ Somaiya.

Even 55-65 percentile would be enough, make sure you attempt questions which you're confident and within shortest time to gain good score.

The CAT cutoff changes every year based on the year exam and difficulty.
There is no such defined cutoff, It changes every year.Last Year CAT cutoff was 86, CMAT 96 and XAT 78

CAT is not very tough exam it depends on individuals dedication and preparation for the exam. Yes, its easy to qualify CAT if you prepare well. Symbiosis do conduct its own entrance exam SNAP for MBA admissions.
