It is a pleasure to see your interest towards IRMA.
The test on Issues of Social Concern is considered to be as important as the CAT itself. It is 'Indispenseable'.
Generally the test is conducted to assess the candidate's familiarity with social issues around the world but Indian rural in specific. Anything ranging from the Millennium development goals, now almost redundant, to the schemes and yojanas instituted by the Indian Government can be asked about.
So it has to do about how well read you are more than your aptitude.
Please do refer to the magazines Yojana and Kurukshetra. They would be of great help.
