Yes you should prepare in your final year itslef. nevertheless, aftter Bcom it is always good. So keep putting 8hrs of hardwork daily and give minimum of 10mocktests bfore CAT final exam.

The Composite Score has been computed by giving weightage of 40%, 30%, and 30% to the scores of VRC, DI/LR, and QA Sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT 2015 Examination for candidates who registered with FMS. The CAT cut-off for SC category for top notch colleges is 60-70 percentile. You can have a good chance to good in IIMs if you belong to this category.

Upto 85%,If ypu are preparing for such a big exam then think for IIM and equivalent institutes.
