If you do regular coaching, then you will learn step by step and will be able to crack CAT. The best coaching institutes are: TIME, IMS, Career Launcher and Bulls Eye. You need to score more percentile in CAT.

There are a list of books that you'll get whenever and wherever you search for CAT preparation. The idea is not to solve everything. Qualitative study is more important.
Focus more on your weak areas and weak topics rather than trying to finish every book you come across.
Of the material I've gone through, most useful were the following
1. Quantitative ability
- TIME study material
- Quantitative Aptitude by Arun Sharma
* my recommendation won't be to solve the Complete book, rather solve time or whatever coaching material you have and the topics that you find difficult or you need more practice in solve those from this book.

CAT stands for common aptitude test.CAT is conducted by IIMs I.e.,Indian institute of management which is best for pursuing MBA in any field.however there are many other colleges which accept CAT score like fms, imt,Christ college etc.you should score at at least 55% in graduation and 90 percentile in CAT exam.your CAT score will be calculated on overall performance in 10th,12th and graduation. they are very helpful in calculating percentile.so if you are in your third year of your graduation then you should start your preparation for CAT.you can join TIME coaching centre for your preparation. your vocabulary and mathematics should be

Yes, CAT is difficult but not that it is impossible. With proper utilization of time and some hard work, you can score a good percentile on it. And starting its preparation depends upon your own advantage.
