I have seen people with above 80 percentile in CAT from SC category make it to the IIMs but I am not sure about 60 percentile. Moreover, in engineering, percentile is on the higher side. You must apply to all the IIMs but chances are very slim. Sorry to disappoint but there is still a good chance of converting a call, if you prove yourself well in the interviews.

You have high chances of getting a call for GDPI. Overall your academics are good and your CAT score is decent. So definitely if you apply you will get a call

Hi, I would suggest you to apply. If you have work experience then it will be an add on. Also if possible appear for the exam conducted by IMT-H which is conducted n the month of April

Last year the cut off for general category was 95 percentile. So you can expect it around 95 this year also.

Hi Pulugam, yes im pretty sure and you can get admission in Alliance . In Alliance they normally ask for 60% MAT or CMAT whereas you have 85%, people who dont have 60% you have to write Alliance MAT(AMAT) on the interview day. here are the requirements for admission, 1) Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized University. 2) A high score in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/NMAT by GMAC/AMAT , or if u haven't scored will or didn't wrote any exam then u have to attend the Alliance MAT (AMAT), for more details AMAT please go through the link http://bus.alliance.edu.in/web/mba-admissions.php .
