Yes, there are so many IIM colleges that you can get admission, but you have to score very good marks in the CAT exam. There are so many IIMs that haven't been considered or given more weightage to past academics you can check on the IIM website accordingly, you can target them.

Hello Sk, It's good that you've made your choice and are dedicating yourself towards it. Actually many people take career breaks while preparing for CAT exam and even the interviewers understand that, given you are able to correctly justify your career break. The interviews may ask you the reason and you can simply state the reason, of course in not such a simple manner but in a better structured and confident way. But be ready with a backup plan no one has seen the future. Hope this helps and if you have any further query you can ask in comments. ALL THE BEST. ;). .

There is no limit on the number of times a candidate may appear for the CAT exam. The CAT exams have unlimited attempts. Likewise, there is no restriction on the age up to which you can appear for CAT. You can therefore take the CAT as many times as you want. At any stage of your career, you have the option of pursuing an MBA through CAT. All you need is a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% aggregate to appear in CAT.
