Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview based on score/ percentile obtained in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT.
Final Selection:
Candidates are selected based on score/ percentile in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT and performance in group discussion & personal interview. Due weightage is given to past academic achievements and work experience respectively, apart from the above-mentioned parameters. Selection parameter and weightage:
Score/ percentile in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT- 50%
Group Discussion - 10%
Personal Interview - 15%
Work Experience, Sports & Extra Curricular Activities- 5%.

It is very much possible to crack the CAT in 3 months, so as to solve the problems rigorously and with concentration, give more and more mocks.

Yes, CAT and CMAT syllabus is little bit different. CMAT is easy as compared to CAT, and also there is involvement of general Knowledge in CMAT.

Getting a good score in CAT will give you ample opportunities from different MBA colleges. You will get calls from different colleges and then you will get an opportunity to sit for the GDPI for the respective colleges. Good luck.

Yes, you can aim different exams such as CMAT MHT CET, NMAT, XAT for getting into good college. There are private exams for private colleges as well.

My sincere advise is do not look for a college without competitive exam score. If you think your CAT score will not be good, think of other exams. There are cases where a person does badly in on e exam but does lot better in other exams.
