The cutoff of CAT 2018 refers to the minimum marks or percentile a test taker must obtain in order to qualify for the next round of selection process. IIMS and other participating institutes will release the CAT cutoff 2018 to shortlist the candidates for the selection procedure. CAT will be conducted by IIM Calcutta on November 25, the result will be announced in the second week of January. Hi,
Overall CAT 2017 cut offs, XAT 2018 cut offs and GMAT score cut offs. Accordingly, it is not only CAT 2017 overall percentile or score which will be considered by SPJIMR Mumbai to shortlist the candidates for final admission round but sectional scores are also major criteria to shortlist the candidates. Hey Bhumika,
The percentile for MBA entrance examination is purely based on the institute and colleges. Every institute has it's own requirements about the entrance examination. The general percentile we can talk here is anywhere between 90-99, basis on it you may have a chance of getting admission in a top B-School.

CMAT is common management admission test. It is conducted by the AICTE. It is computer based test of duration 180 minutes. Total question: 100
Total marks: 400 marks
It consist of 4 sections
CAT EXAM-Common admission test
Duration: 180 minutes
Total questions: 300 marks
Three sections
Negative marking: 1/3rd
MAT Exam: management aptitude test
Duration: 150 minds
It is computer based and pen paper based
Total 5 sections:
CMAT has an easier approach than CAT. CMAT offers good opportunity for all those who remain dissatisfied with their CAT 2016 or XAT results as CMAT on January will give a chance to improve their scores and get admission call

Hi Buddy
Look, CAT is not about study more. Its about how much you manage yourself during exam. The only part which may be difficult for many people is VARC. LRDi is not difficult as it looks. If you attempt 2 set correct of LRDI means 8 question, you will be above 88percentile if you attempt 12 question Correct in LRDI section you will be landing above 98 percentile. Quants section is what you need little practice. Quants for CAT is not that difficult. You should know only basics of every chapter. You can easily score above 85 in quants. So, best is give at least 4 mock test in a week so that you know which part you can improve on.
