I joined TIME-Pune for CAT preparation at the end of July 2016. I joined classes, because that helps one make a proper structure for the vast syllabus of CAT. I attended every single class. Additionally, it helped me form an excellent study group, studying became easier with friends. In August, I started solving all questions of the chapters from the TIME books and handouts as soon as they were covered in class. Then after 2 weeks or so All India Mock CAT. Or AIMCATs started, now I was in dilemma whether to give the first mock or not, because how am I supposed to sit for full syllabus test (aren't we all used to syllabus first, then ex

Hi Shruti,
Take a study material and start studying chapter wise, solve problems on that topic and take 2 tests after every chapter. You have to analyze your 1st test that where you did the mistake and work on it and then take 2nd test with full preparation so that you'll finish that topic right away. Note- Make notes of all important formulas and points somewhere so that at the exam time you can make a quick recap. Or you can get the formula files online also. You need to work regularly on your skills. Learn new words, make small calculations every day. Give lots of mock tests and quizzes with utmost discipline just like you're giving your final day test and that's all. You'll be confident and will be able to score well in the exam.

It is the right time to join coaching. There are so many coaching who claim that they can cover your all topics within a couple of months, but it is useless because with few months of coaching you can hardly complete your whole syllabus, so it is the right time.

If you are a general category appearing for CAT you would get a call but would be difficult to convert. But if you are an OBC, SC or ST it would be a cake walk for you.

No, you won't get any pharmacy related questions. CAT has three segments:

I would suggest you to target for a safe score of 93-95 percentile in CAT. Given the marks, you have in your school education you might have a good chance of going through with this college.
