Catering to the needs of every student as everybody has got his/her own unique problems, they can be big or small for others; so, that way student finds it easier to acclimatise in such a terrific competitive atmosphere. The Alchemist collegeworks like a study forum where the students themselves shatter the doubts of their fellow friends in their area of expertise and wherever the need be they involve the faculty members o

The following article describes the way I prepared for CAT (2016). This strategy worked for me and hopefully it works for all you guys as well. WARNING! This is a pretty lengthy but descriptive article so those who don't have the time, maybe you can come read this later!
I started preparing seriously from the month of March. So here it goes:
March May: PRACTISE, PRACTISE!
I dedicated this period to work on the Funds and getting conceptual clarity on various topics. This is by far the best place to get all your basics right.
Coming back to the main content, my advice to those of you who are just starting your prep will be: focus on practi

You can get a lot of colleges:
1. Try new IITs
2. Nits
3. MS Raraiya
4. Acharya b school
5. Alliance
See, I recommend you take CAT next year again and try for IIMs.

See, I recommend you to try again next year but if you really want suggestion, then try top NITs because they really do not care about the CAT marks. They test you by their internal test.

Well, there are no fixed ways to go about preparing for CAT and the way I did, it might or might not work for you and I leave it for you to decide. However, since you've decided to appear for CAT 2016, what's most essential from here is that you dedicate a fixed number of hours to your preparation each and every day. This will help you immensely. Here my typical week during the CAT prep looked like-
On weekdays, I would-
1. 5:30 AM: Up from B.Ed
2. 6:00- 8:00/8: 30: Prepare for CAT
3. 9:30-6: 30: Goto Office
4. 6:30-9:30: Relax and do miscellaneous things
5. 10:00-10:45: Revise learnings from the morning hours
Weekends
Saturday: Answer Mocks

Hi,
This totally depends on you that whether you want a gap or not. If you think you cannot prepare both graduation and CAT together you should definitely opt for a gap because it will hamper both graduation and CAT so make a wise decision and keep in mind your strengths and weaknesses before coming to a conclusion. And if you are capable of handling them together don't waste a year.
Good luck.

There are many coaching centres in Kolkata but all depends on your smart work so kindly do that. Some of the popular coachings are TIMES, Made Easy, Alchemist, etc. You can also do correspondence courses from these coaching institutes.
