You need to allocate 3 to 4 hours daily. You must study with full concentration. You must revise the basic concepts of mathematics, verbal needs to be practiced regularly and DI/LR needs focus, concentration and patience.

The syllabus is more or less the same. The bulk of the syllabus for banking and CAT exams consists of:
1. Quantitative aptitude.
2. Logical reasoning
3. Data interpretation.
4. Verbal reasoning.
5. Critical reasoning.
6. Verbal aptitude.
7. Reading comprehension.

IIT KGP provides admission through CAT. The percentile requirement is higher for general category an approximate of 97-99. Then you will receive a call from the college for further rounds.

No, waiver of fee on the basis of percentile is not applicable. Yes, there may be some chances if you belong from reserved category (maybe).
Admission in IP will be made on the basis of rank obtained in CET i.e common entrance test.

Yes it is very much important to take these exams. Actually when you prepare for these exams you get to know and analyse things in a better way or it will be accurate to say in a logical way. That is very much required in a corporate world. So these exams test your reasoning and analysis capacity. So it is better you secure your admission through these exams. It will benefit you in long run.

You need to get more than 60 - 70 percentile. Exact percentile you will get by end of January and then you can apply for IBS. After that you have to fill the form and come for GD/PI in Hyderabad.
