No, not at all.
It is your performance in JAM ( your marks and rank) that determines your selection in any IIT. 12th marks play no role here.

Yes, you can appear for improvement exam, but you can give it so in the next year.
However, you need to apply for it separately in the stipulated time for CBSE re examination.
Also, you can't give it again after appearing for an improvement exam.

If you had 6 subjects and you passed in other subjects, then you must have been declared passed, and if at all you get a decent college, you may join it. Else, you will have to appear for compartment exam.

You will easily get placements from this university, if you bear skills in yourself, then all the things will be secondary for the company officials. If not, then you can't be able to get placements for this college.

The minimum marks which are required by universities for getting admission into BCA is that a candidate must have scored atleast 45% in their +2.
