It'll be difficult as according to last year's cutoff, you need at least a rank under 1500. Though, it is close, you can go for counselling. Try for another NIT (be it Kozkhikode) or go for BMS college of engineering or RV college . Or have a plan B too. Best of luck.
PS : chances for NIT Calicut are less.

Sorry, but you are not likely to get admission with these marks. Kindly refer other options (recommended is private universities which take their own entrances). Best of luck.

If you have not appeared for CET or JEE, then you are not eligible for engineering admission.
But, if you have given either of them entrance exam, then irrespective of result you are welcome at our institute ICEM.

Dear Abhi,First of all, don't worry about your percentage. Most of the government exam eligibility percentile is 50%. My suggestion is to go for professional courses like CA CS Fashion designing, Hotel management. These are career courses, so it doesn't affect your percentile progress.

For getting into a good NIT for general and with a good branch, the least you should have is 195. Below these marks are for category students to get admitted into. Best of luck.

I suggest you to go for private colleges only or autonomous institutes of your state, if you belong from some category. There, home state quota will work and you might GET into good colleges. I suggest you to check the NIRF ranking of engineering colleges to have a reference. https://www.nirfindia.org/2018/EngineeringRanking.html
Or, either try for private universities such as LPU, Amity University, SRM, Chitkara University, CU, VIT etc., who have their own entrances. Best of luck.
