Yes, the employer might ask for less percentage and year gap, you should have a solid reason for the same. But if you have good record at the college level and your knowledge is sound, these factors can be ignored.

In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.
