Hi Ishan,
NIOS is National Institute of Open Schooling. The NIOS is a national board that administers examinations for Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations of open schools similar to the CBSE and the CISCE to increase literacy and provide education to rural areas. It also offers vocational courses after the high school. Despite being established for distance education, NIOS provides a formal and regular secondary and Senior Secondary programme equivalent to CBSE.

VJTI is a governmental institute, and if you belong to OBC, then you need to score at least of 90+ marks or you better prefer MAH CET for your admission. It will be a lot easier for you.

Music is something, which you can follow with any stream of your study. I would suggest you to follow any path you want to and follow music along with as having backups are always nice e. g if you want to pursue engineering or pure Science do it you'll get enough time for music to. It's just it is always better to be multi-talented. All the best.

DU considers best 4 subjects percentage. Not in only English. Since you have 70%, it is difficult to get in DU. Check the cut offs that the university will be releasing. If you are under it, then it is your luck, otherwise try from another university.
