Most institutes offering the D. Pharmacy course admit students based on performance in a relevant entrance test, often followed by a round of personal interview, wherein their general aptitude for the course is tested. Admission process generally varies across colleges. A few institutes also provide direct admission based on the candidate's performance at the 10+2 level. You are good at maths, but still failed. Quite surprising and no, without a strong mathematical background, you cannot possibly study what you want. You should consider retaking the exam and improve your scores significantly to be accepted by universities abroad. If you are really into astronomy I will suggest you take online courses a MOOC. This may help to further advance your studies.

The minimum eligibility to apply is that candidate should have a minimum pass mark of 60% in class 12th with mandatory subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and statistics.
The aggregate calculated is for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Statistics put together. A candidate must have studied English along with the mandatory subjects at 10+2 level. A candidate has to appear for Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE). Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in TUEE and the academics.
