Hi,
To study in USA, you must take the SAT or ACT. Top ranked universities will require SAT subject tests too if you take the SAT. Besides, you must also excel in your extracurricular activities and have an overall impressive profile. TOEFL must also be taken. Every university in USA have different admission requirement as such it is important that you visit the university websites and learn about the admission requirements such as preferred SAT score, TOEFL score, minimum percentile in 11th and 12th grade, etc. They also have their admission deadlines by which you must submit the forms.

Hello Ishan,
There is no need to repeat your 12th since you passed in all the subjects, you can prepare for the improvement examination next year along with your JEE preparation, this will save your 1 precious year and yes will be eligible for IIT-JEE.

If you are in class 12th, then you need not to worry about it. Keep patience and confidence and do hard work. Because, JEE Mains exam have maximum questions from class 11 and class 12th syllabus. Now a days, board exams is running. During board exam preparations, you need to understand all formulas and their inner concept, it will help you in both board or JEE Mains. After completing board exams, you should revise all formula with at least 2-3 questions on every concept and solve previous year papers or try to solve first chemistry and easy questions first in paper. Then you surely will perform best in Mains.

Hi,
Generally, basic knowledge for your first year will be from class 12th. It would be more or less similar with increased reading level. You can get an overview of this from the subjects under your university course.

Generally, universities consider 50% average marks for admission and a written exam is conducted as well. Please give a call to the concerned university for this. There are also other good universities that provide admission based on your marks.
