Yup, sure you need to score well in your +2 examinations.
For general candidates:
1. 75% overall.
OR
2. Be in the top 20 percentile of your respective boards
For reserved candidates:
1. 65% overall that's it.

For engineering Physics, Chemistry and Maths are required in 10,10+2. So, it will be difficult to get into engineering. You can look for other Bachelors courses related to Computers.

Hello Ashant,
For your 12th improvement exam to be valid for JEE Mains, you need to appear in all the papers and score more than 75% to be eligible for getting admission in IIT's and NITs.

Eligibilty criteria for B.Sc Home Science in majority of Universities is as follows: " Candidates who have studied Physics/ Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and other subjects except languages with atleast 50% in aggregate of the best three subjects".
You are not eligible for seeking admission in B.Sc Home Science.
