Hi Faizan, the three areas you mentioned are not even remotely related to each other. So I will advice you to know your likes, interests, aptitude and decide if you want to study CS or HM.

Hi Namdev, yes a repeat is recommended. For future job prospects also better percentile is recommended. Different companies have different criteria for selection. They do prefer students with good grades.

Hi Vivek, you have to make this choice based your interests. By a mining Diploma, you will be limited to only careers in mining. However, with a civil engineering Diploma, you will have wider prospects. So, decide accordingly.

This is a choice your son has to make. If he is weak in quants, he should not opt for engineering. Besides engineering, there are other good options like architecture, computer applications, design, etc. He can take a psychometric test too in order to know his aptitude.
