If a student is not good at Physics, it will be difficult for him to clear competitive engineering entrance exams. Physics is a mandatory subject in B.Tech syllabus. Such students can opt for B.Sc mathematics, statistics, chemistry, computer science or IT.
Students have other choices such as BCA, BBA, 5 years integrated LLB, Hotel management, Fashion designing, etc. Student can also change career to commerce stream, humanities or fine arts after class 12th.

If you are interested in science, then B.E/B.Tech is a good option. If you have studied in commerce stream, then B.Com is a good option. Arts is also a good option, if you are trying to pursue it from good university like DU.

If you have not scored well with science subjects, then you can either repeat it from National Institute of Open Schooling or appear as a private student from CBSE.
