You should select the subject, in which you got the highest marks to major in. Then, look for a college under an affiliated university, which accepts students in the subject of your selection with your acquired marks.

Placements eligibility set by the companies as some of the companies set the eligibility criteria min. 60 % in 10th , 12 th and graduation but not all the companies and many companies don't set any eligibility criteria , Students can directly sit for GD and interview .
College don't set any criteria for placements

The current scenario is such that grades won't matter much. Yes, a score above 70 will open doors for getting good opportuniies and same goes for placements after BE. They aren't too much dependent on grades (but you should have decent one anything above 70 is good). The only thing that matters is the skills you acquire with the got number of opportunities.

The Indian Institute of Astrophysics is a premier institute devoted to research in astronomy, astrophysics and related physics.This is a full-time research programme where in the students work towards their Ph.D degree under the supervision of an IIA faculty. There is no difference between BE and B.Tech. Both the degrees are same and it is only a nomenclature difference.
