Can you suggest the best career options that can be pursued after class 12th with maths except engineering & craft related courses?

You can do B.Sc and look for aviation training, if interested. It costs around Rs.60 lakhs in India to get commercial pilot license. You can also write CDSE exam to join military. You can also try NDA after class 12th.

Is it important to take a coaching for CAT preparation if a student is average in studies & having a score of 60%in 12th & 72% in 10th?

I dont think that coaching is important. But I seriously think that practice is very important. The more questions you solve, better are your chances of getting into IIM. If you can do that on your own. I dont think you need coaching. However if you need to bring discipline, then you can take some coaching.
