Yes, you can go with B.Com course because it gives you a fresh start for learning the subject that you not study earlier. Many students after passing 12 th from Science side come to do this course it will gave you a vast variety of works related in finance sector and the subject are really not much tough if you study hard you can score good marks but because of the new content of the subject you have to clear all the basic of the subject. May be not into IIMB (they emphasis more on academic grades), but other Iims can surely shortlist you if you have good grades in other academic classes and CAT percentile. Moreover if you are other than gen male engineering. , then you have more chances of getting calls from Iims.

In top IIMS your 10th ,12th marks matters. It gives a huge advantage as it defines the consistency of a student. To get admitted into any IIMss or any Top MBA colleges in India, the minimum CAT 2022 cutoff is expected to be 90 percentile. Those who secured the 99+ percentile can apply to top Iims like IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Kozhikode. Hope it helps.
