Many students switched to state boards after 10th because of the flexible system in state boards schools. So, its not a big deal. No, it will not create you any problems in future just focus on your goal and work hard.

Hi, Fine arts are offered by CBSE as a subject option, however, individual schools decide on the options they wish to provide their students. Do let us know which city you are writing in from so we can check if the schools there offer fine arts as a study option in class XI and XII. Else your brother can opt for subjects as per his interests, choice and strengths in class XII since there are no subject restrictions for admission to the BFA course. Mention your category here. If you are an SC or ST, you can get seats in both. If you are from open category, it would be difficult in both.

In case, you did not mention your roll number/name on supplementary sheet and enclosed the sheets well, you need not to worry. Otherwise, there is no solution to fix it now.

You don't need to opt for CAT exam if you want to study law further. After completion of 12th, if you are thinking for law, you may take admission in law school or private university for integrated course BALLB/BBA LLB. It depends that you are want a top law school then you need to sit for CLAT which will be conducted in the month of May. Apply for it and start preparing now to get into National Law University. There is no cut-off as such. B.Com (H) from NMIMS is an entrance-test based course. You are supposed to give an exam for the same.
